Mrs. Randolph's FCS Classes

Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) was known as Home Economics until the 1990s when the title was changed to Family & Consumer Sciences. The FCS courses offered at Quanah High School cover a variety of topics including; nutrition, food preparation, parenting, early childhood education, family economics, resource management, human development, and other related subjects which prepare students to become successful family members, wage earners and community leaders.

I hope each of you have had a fun and relaxing summer vacation and are ready to begin a new school year at QHS. This year I will be teaching the following Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) classes:

Culinary Arts I
Culinary Arts II
Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness
Child Development

I encourage each student enrolled in a Family and Consumer Science class to become involved in the Quanah - Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), which is a student organization that focuses on our families and community. It is a fun way to learn new things, help others and meet new people!
