Mrs. Randolph's FCS Classes

Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) was known as Home Economics until the 1990s when the title was changed to Family & Consumer Sciences. The FCS courses offered at Quanah High School cover a variety of topics including; nutrition, food preparation, parenting, early childhood education, family economics, resource management, human development, and other related subjects which prepare students to become successful family members, wage earners and community leaders.

This is going to be a busy week with all of the Homecoming Festivities!!!
We will be learning so much this week in Family and Consumer Science!

Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness class will be learning about time management and efficient work skills.
Culinary Arts Class will continue the ServeSafe Training unit of study.
Practicum of Culinary Arts will be studying workplace safety and health and also workplace hazards.
Child Development will be learning more about relationships and traits necessary for marriage.
